Applications
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of phenolic acids, flavonoids, amino acids, polyamines, water- and fat-soluble vitamins, plant hormones, organic acids, anthocyanins and sugars. Suitable for metabolite profiling and phytochemical identification by UPLC or direct MS/MS.

Specifications
UPLC: operating pressure up to 15,000 psi; flow rate 0.05–0.5 mL/min.
Photodiode array detector: 190–900 nm.
Tandem mass spectrometer: mass scan range 20–2,000 amu; ESI positive/negative and APCI positive/negative ionisation modes.
Sample requirements
Minimum 2 mL extract; for eligible solid plant or mushroom samples, minimum 10 g. Follow a published extraction method appropriate to the compound group.
